The Clarity Pause: A 5-Step Practice to Reset, Reflect and Reconnect

If you could wave a magic wand, what would you change or ask for?
Why that?
And why don’t you already have what you want?
As you reflect, pause and check in with your body for a moment:
What sensations are present when you think about this desire?
Where in your body are these sensations the strongest?
If the sensations had an emotional quality, what emotion would you name?
Were you aware, just five minutes ago, that this emotion was living inside you?
Interesting, right?
Could this emotion be showing up in other moments too?
When you're tired? Trying too hard? Caring too much?
Or, maybe it sneaks in at night and keeps you awake?
Could it be coloring your perspective? Like a filter over how you see your life, your relationships, your possibilities?
There are often quiet undercurrents beneath our conscious awareness. These undercurrents shape how we show up in the present moment.
Sometimes it feels like we’re swimming upstream. Dense, heavy, and draining. Can you relate?
When that happens, everything feels harder. Our energy and capacity drop. Even our spirit feels pressed down.
Carrying our concerns and pain, quietly just under the surface, is exhausting.
But something powerful happens when we lean in with compassion and curiosity.
When we truly listen to the part of us that’s struggling, we begin to loosen the knots. We untangle the threads of suffering that keep us bound. And in doing so, we create space for energy, clarity, and delight to return.
We are truly wonderfully made. With access to deep resources, creativity, and potential. Resources that can fertilize our gifts into beautiful expressions and reflections of who we are at our core.
We have a responsibility to ourselves, our loved ones, and the world around us to manage our energy and gifts. To honor who we are and how we show up. Because a life that blooms is radiant and shares its beauty with others just by existing.
That’s why taking even one quiet moment to check in matters.
To nurture our inner garden. A few minutes of gentle tending each day, like pulling weeds and watering roots, prepares the ground for blooming.
Shining the light of our attention, helps us see clearly what we’re carrying, and whether it’s helping or hurting us in this moment.
It opens the door for kindness, release, and aligned action.
And if you catch yourself saying, “But I don’t have time… I don’t have the energy…”
PAUSE.
Those very signals are actually invitations. They’re not interruptions. They’re cues.
You can use them to build a beautiful habit to:
PAUSE, reflect and tend to what matters most. YOU. Your light, your energy and your gifts.
To experience a PAUSE, simply:
P – Place a hand on your heart and give thanks. Inhale gently through your nose and exhale through your mouth with an audible sigh. Repeat three times.
A – Attune to what you’re feeling. Get Curious and Acknowledge the emotion that is present right now without judgment.
U – Understand the deeper message, and perhaps its source. Why is it trying to get your attention? What does it need? And what does it want from you?
S – Settle into the space of presence. Let your nervous system soften. Breathe in deeper knowing.
E – Embrace this new awareness. From here, choose your next step forward from a place of alignment and wholeness.
Reflect, How do you feel now? Have you gained an insight? An understanding? An awareness of a greater need? With this new information, how will you now tend to what's present? And how will you show up to what's next?
If you actually PAUSE, reflect and tend to what matters most, you will become lighter, more energized and more capable of creating positive outcomes. You will feel more connected and aligned. There will be more ease and delight as you begin to witness life unfolding in magical ways.
Cultivate a practice to Pause. Learn how to befriend the painful parts. Bring light and love to the strands of suffering that have you bound up and weighed down. Discover again the magic of being fully alive in this moment.
Because even in the busyness, you are allowed to cultivate your inner landscape and bloom where you are planted.
You matter. You are here for a reason. The world needs your light like never before. Let's keep blooming bright by tending our inner landscapes.
