When Life Becomes an Adventure
- Cindi Boesler
- Creator Mode
Living from the deepest, wisest, most loving part of yourself
What if life could feel less like something you have to manage and more like something you get to experience?
Less like an endless series of problems to solve, outcomes to control, and things to get right.
And more like something alive.
Something to explore.
Something to participate with.
Something continually inviting you to create, connect, discover, love, contribute, and become more fully yourself.
Not because life becomes easy.
Not because uncertainty disappears.
But because more of you is available to meet the life that is here.
This is the possibility at the heart of Creator Mode.
The ten-foot-tall you
Imagine a ten-foot-tall version of yourself.
Not a better or more enlightened version.
Simply the deepest, wisest, most loving presence within you.
A presence grounded in something deeper than whatever circumstance you are facing.
From here, you can care deeply without controlling every outcome.
You can be disappointed without being diminished.
You can make a mistake without becoming the mistake.
You can be uncertain without being lost.
And you can stand at the edge of something you don't know with a growing confidence:
Whatever happens here, I trust myself to meet it.
That confidence doesn't come from knowing everything will work out.
It comes from knowing there is more of you here to meet whatever unfolds.
When uncertainty becomes possibility
From fear, uncertainty can look like danger.
What if something goes wrong?
From pressure, it becomes a problem:
How do I figure this out?
But from a steadier place, the unknown can also contain possibility.
I wonder what might happen.
What might I discover?
What could become possible from here?
Creator Mode doesn't make us immune to heartbreak, disappointment, risk, or loss.
Self doesn't make us less affected. It makes us less captured.
And when we are less captured by fear and the need to control, the unknown doesn't have to be populated only by monsters.
There can be doors there too.
Life becomes something we participate with
As less of our energy is consumed by protection and pressure, more of us becomes available.
Curiosity.
Creativity.
Courage.
Discernment.
Connection.
Presence.
Play.
Aliveness.
Instead of asking only:
How do I get the outcome I want?
we can also ask:
How do I want to meet what is here?
What is mine to bring?
What might want to emerge?
We still plan, choose, work, risk, create, love, repair, and begin again.
But we do so from a different orientation.
The life-giving spiral
And then something beautiful happens.
Participation generates more to participate with.
We follow a curiosity and discover something.
We create and are changed by what we create.
We risk a conversation and deepen a relationship.
We contribute and discover that what we bring matters.
We love and are changed by loving.
Our experiences become part of who we are when we meet the next moment.
This is the life-giving spiral of Creator Mode.
We participate.
We experience.
We create.
We connect.
We contribute.
We expand.
And from that expanded place, we participate again.
Curiosity invites discovery.
Experience develops wisdom.
Connection deepens belonging.
Contribution creates meaning.
Participation generates aliveness.
And aliveness makes us more available to participate again.
Aliveness doesn't mean life always feels lighter. It includes our capacity to be deeply affected by what is here. Sometimes wholehearted participation means feeling the weight of life rather than trying to move beyond it.
For much of my life, I unknowingly lived by a different equation:
I achieve in order to feel alive.
Creator Mode has offered another:
I create because I am alive.
Aliveness is no longer the prize waiting at the end of the journey.
It is our willingness to remain available for the journey itself.
For the joy.
The uncertainty.
The creativity.
The connection.
The disappointment.
The grief.
The love.
The unknown.
Perhaps that is the invitation of Creator Mode.
Not to finally get life right.
But to become increasingly available for the life that is here and discover what becomes possible when we meet it wholeheartedly.
